Lancaster County Convention Center: awning re-canvas
Kreiders recently provided new Sunbrella fabric covers for all 23 of the awnings at the Lancaster County Convention Center. Our in-house craftsmen used an awning grade Sunbrella fabric sewn with heavy duty polyester thread on a lockstitch machine. To meet the local fire codes the fabric was treated with a flame resistant coating. The covers were installed drum tight and each of the center rafters are covered with a velcro sleeve which is sewn to the roof panel. This is done to minimize movement of the cover, maximizing its life.
